* Catalytic site in several hydrolases such as acetyl-choline esterases, acetonitriles, lipases etc. is similar to the one that occurs in serine carboxypeptidases. Due to this similarity in active site the structural motif designed for carboxypeptidases also identify active site in other hydrolases. Specificity of the predicted carboxypeptidase-like triad therefore needs to be verified through experiments.
