 Shri K.Ananda Rao has obtained his Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Electrical) with distinction from Government College of Engineering, Kakinada (Andhra University) in 1969. He joined the Military Engineer Services in January 1971 and served up to January 1983 during which period he worked at Bangalore, Madras and Air Force Station, Tambaram. During this period he has gained experience in Electrical Construction Works, Planning, Contract Management including Maintenance of Air Force Bases, Townships, Substations, AC Plants, etc. In January 1983 he joined CCMB as Scientist ‘C’ (Lab Services) and worked till July 2007 when he took VRS from CCMB as Scientist ‘G’ (Director Grade Scientist). During this period (1983-2007) he has executed several electrical works like installing 3 MVA Sub-station, 3 x 500 kVA Gen sets, Street lighting, Lifts, Internal Electrification, Automatic Fire Alarm System, CCTV, Surveillance Cameras, Central Monitoring System, etc. in addition to Laboratory Maintenance. He was also the Safety Officer of CCMB in which capacity he was sent to Sunderland University, U.K. for training. He has a Diploma in Industrial Safety from Annamalai University and a Diploma in French from CIEFL. He joined CDFD on 1st August 2007. Since then he has taken up the responsibility of converting the leased buildings at Nampally into Office Complex, Hostel and Laboratory. |
